No need to apologise, I can't stand the bastard myself.

The Southern Irish accent is easy to listen to.
Almost musical and lilting.

Northern Irish... now that's just plain annoying.

I've got the dubliner accent myself, although it's not that distinct. It's more of a (for want of a better word) posher dublin accent

Auckland born & bred, lived on the extremes of Auckland ie North & South.
