As I realized, members here are from several countries. As for me, I'm from Germany. I am looking for friends especially from New Zealand. I want to collect some informations in order to move my residence to this wonderful country in the near future. Would be nice to get some helpful contacts in this way, but please no commercial agencies. If I could choose, I would prefer the northern island. Will be thankful for any honest and useful help. At first I will certainly practise here to improve my English

    Heya Nick,

    Welcome to NZB!

The official (ie: Place to go to not get screwed by some con man selling NZ visas ) site is Immigration New Zealand

What kind of work do you do? That can be a deciding factor. Your language skills seem perfectly fine to me.. I probably wouldn't have guessed that English was a second language based on your introduction.

    Hi Kall,
thanks for your return notice on my first introduction. You asked for my profession as a meanly deciding factor for my plans. Well, I passed a 5 years university education in pharmacy and for about 8 years I worked in my own pharmacy store until it had been destroyed by the flood of river Elbe in 2002. At the current time I am employed at a company wich manages the payment between the health insurances and the doctors in Germany. This is an office job mostly handled on screen. I have to analyse the various medications for comparison of price and efficiancy values.
On the second line I am a selfmade specialist for computer networking, especially on Linux server systems, unfortunately without a qualifying diplom. I have knowlegdes in server administration (hard- and software setup), SQL-based database management, development of dynamical websites and perl-scripting f.i. I would prefer an employment in my second line skill, because I feel, my scientific English is not enough good for working in a pharmacy yet. Additionally I have bits and bytes in my blood. The best job, I could imagine would combine both of the skills described above. May be you can help me finding some relating offers, the destination around Auckland would be very acceptable to me. Is there any way to exchange email addresses here? In order to make heads of the nails I could visit NZ the first time for about two weeks during the middle of the year.
