Default Introductions from a kiwi living in Aussie

    Hey all

I've joined this message board in the hope of making some contacts and getting the general low down on what NZ life is like these days.

It's been 10 years since I last lived in NZ..... Of course it is still home to me.

My husband, kids and I are seriously considering moving back home to Northland in the near future. We've got some land and an old house over there, but there's no power, phone, plumbing or the usual comforts of home. It would sure be an adventure for a while until we can set up some alternative energy and other conveniences.

Also, I have not be all that well in the past few years and am only able to take on part time work. It would be great to chat with some born and bred locals agains.... sure do miss walking barefoot down the creek!!

Well, that's about it for now.
    Cheers
    Xyn.

    Hi!

Do you still like being/walking barefoot? I would love to live in a country like New Zealand too where being barefoot seems quite normal / usual.
