Topic: glen eden auckland

Hi everyone i was wondering if there is anyone out there who could help me out. I used to live in glen eden in auckland and i am trying to find someone who lives in or around the area in question so that they could possibly do me a favour. Its basicly a trip down memory lane 4 me as it was over 30 years ago that i lived there as my parents moved back to england.Any help would be appreciated.

What are you wanting to do? We don't live near Glen Eden but we sometimes travel through there to visit friends and relatives.

What i would like is for someone to take a photo of our old house and email it to me and also to find out if the family who lived 2 houses up are still about, i would of dropped them a line but i can't remember which way the house numbers run, its an age thing and it was over 30 years ago. If your able to help i'll pass on the details to you for when you next pass through. your help would be much appreciated here back home

What road is your old house on and are there any landmarks (like big trees) nearby?

the name of the road is captain scott road i lived at number 50 the only landmark i can give you is our old house was opposite john f kennedy road and the front of the house had a balcony/verander all the way across the front. i hope this is of some help i no its not much but like i say its was over 30 years ago i lived there. any help is appreciated no matter how small

Next to Terra Nova Place if I remember correctly.
Capt Scott Rd now goes all the way through to Atkinson Rd but I think that was done about 30 years ago.
I will see what I can do about a photo or two for you
