Discuss "Ways to relieve boredom" in the General Discussion forums; I walk the same route to work every day (and back again) and it's starting to get a bit boring so I came up with ... on New Zealand Boards.

Re: Ways to relieve boredom
Just remember while doing this you are not allowed to step on any cracks.
"
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO-HOO What a ride!"

I do the same thing you do to help me remember license plates of my own car or of friends.... so that if I see a car out that looks like theirs I can verify it.
Have you thought about getting a walkman and listening to books on tapes while you walk?

Yowch!!!
I've heard that about Ipods especially because the headphones for those are so recognizable. I thought that was pretty insane but for a $500 gadget I guess I can see it.
Do you pass a lot of businesses on your walk? Or primarily houses?

Re: Ways to relieve boredom
When going by businesses you can play the "Alphabet game". Look for each letter of the alphabet on signs as you go by. YOu have to find each one consecutively before moving on to the next letter.

You've eaten tang fish?
The most exotic 'fish' you can get around here is shark or eel.
