Topic: This may sound silly

But does anyone know how to get pernament marker off you keyboard?

Alright I drew on my keyboard, but I kinda picked up the wrong pen...anyway best not to ask why aye!

I tried whiteboard cleaner but that just made it fade a bit.

Meths? That normally takes permanent marker off.

Oh yeah, I'll see if I can find some... the IT Nazis might have some.. I might try to leave out the fact that I want it becuae i drew on my keyboard.

They used to give us meths at school when they wanted us to clean the pen off the desks.

This brings up a real problem.

You know these white boards. And how someone will use the wrong pen and it is dead.

Anyone got an item tha t will clean the board?

Don't tell me. It may be worth a fortune.

I know exactly how to get that off the whiteboard Ed... (and my problem is a real problem, I really drew on my keyboard!)

Get your normal whiteboard marker (the ones you are meant to use) and draw over the pernament marker, then use the whiteboard duster to rub it off. Or Meths would probably work too.

You can actually get special whiteboard cleaner (which is probably really meths in a fancy bottle with a fancy name) but it does the trick when some nobrainer decides to use a permanent marker instead of a whiteboard marker.

I would like to know more about this. If there is a name. And you notice it while shopping. Let me know what it is.

I have seen some but they don't seem to quite do the job.

And I am always seeing the slightly written on with the wrong marker at tag and garage sales.
