The First thing in the Morning thread

What is the first thing you do every morning when you get out of bed?

I generally look for something to drink. If there's no cold coffee in the cup on the side table, it's off to the fridge for coke.

have a shower or if its too late or I had one the night before just grab some clothes (generally off the floor ) and go to work

Have a drink of water (I keep a water bottle beside the bed) ... feed the cat .... have a shower ...

First thing I do in the morning is lift the wee girl into our bed and hope like hell she cuddles down and goes back to sleep. cause getting up at 5am is not my ideal wake up time.

The first thing I do when we do get up is change babys bum and feed her.

Coke + shower + a sandwich on the way to work. Somewhere in the middle of this I wake up.

You wake up BEFORE you get to work?? It usually takes me until bout 1/2 way through the day! Hope noone travels on the southern with me...

A day in the life:

Wake-ish, stagger around for a while, grab some clothes, eat whatever is still on the table, shower (if there's time), toilet (if there's time), dress (there better bloody had be time), leave for work, miss the bus, walk, notice that the clothes I grabbed don't match, sulk, toilet (if I skipped it earlier), work, skip lunch, work, home, tea is in the oven, TV, come here, get called for supper, stay here, get called again, eat supper, sleep, wake-ish...

Rinse and repeat.

Not sure. Super Troopers has a shenannigans scene, but mostly I've seen people calling it on fark and slashdot.
