Topic: Reality TV has gone crazy

I just saw advertised on the telly last night "Outback Jack"

These city girls go camping with "Jack" to try and win his heart. A snippet I heard on the ad was "Where are the outlets?" "What outlets?" I think she wants to know where to plug in her hair dryer...

What will they think of next??

Well possibly this one... I was reading in a magizine, a "The Batchelor" style show, the guys go along with it they vye for the heart of this lady, snogging etc goes on... then at the end they find out shes trans gender.. shes had the op and everything.

I was *just* saying that to Kall last night when I saw the Outback Jack program advertised. I think one of the worst is where the guy is totally broke but the girls all think he's just inherited $50million bucks. They all think he's a multi-millionaire and he's looking for someone that wants him and not his money. I think it's a pretty cruel game that one.

I've heard about the trans-gender one. The contestants tried to get the show banned from TV because they were so embarrassed about it.

Oh yeah Joe Millionaire or something. Then there was that one with Monica Lewinsky, where they all wore masks and stuff. That was weird too (I mean Monica Lewinsky offering Dating advice! I never saw it but can understand why there was no second series)

The trans gender one is werid. I wouldn't want it on telly either.. but she was beautiful.

The reality TV thing is just a fad at the moment. Remember when it was game shows? Hopefully the excitement of it will wear off. It does make TV producers a LOT of money though.

About the only sort of show we've got that's a bit challenging on the mind is "Who wants to be a millionaire". I'd like to see more quiz shows. At least they allow the brain to work ...

I detest reality shows - it is disturbing what Americans will do for fame or fortune...

And the Japanese reality shows do it for tortune.

Isn't there a simpsons episode where they go on one of these torture game shows?? I seem to remember it.

Just thinking about reality tv, has anyone been watching Big Brother? I watched it for like the first time or one of the first last night. And this dude he was cutting chillis and then he went and took a leak, and then hes jumping round and stuff and his comments were along the lines of his testicles being on fire.

I thought it was so funny. Not something he is likely to do twice! lol

I wonder if he was doing this as well when it went for a leak

he didn't look too happy! He went to big brother about something, and Big Brother suggested he washed them... lol.
