    Default iPad's and NZ

    Hello all

First off, this is my first post. I found this site because I was interested in some information on iPads, but I am aslo just generally looking for great info on New Zealand.

I am an American who is traveling to New Zealand May 3rd-15th. We plan on spending the first few days in the Bay of Islands, and then just travel around the country for the rest of the trip. We have rented a car, booked a place in Paihia for 2 nights, and that's about it. After that, who knows. I have spent many many hours looking at all the great places in your country to visit, and am very excited about the trip!

So, onto the title. Here in the US, the iPad went on sale yesterday (for pre order), and they will be delivered to us on April 3rd. We are allowed to order 2 per person, and I have order 1 for myself.

This means I can order 3 more if I like, and bring them with me to sell in New Zealand. I have a few questions about this however.

One is, is it legal to do so? I don't want to break the law. Second is if it is, what's the best way to go about advertising that I have these things for sale? Is there something like an eBay in New Zealand? is there a tech board somewhere that would have people interested in such things?

Any information on this would be great! Oh, and I can't wait to get there and see all the awesome sites your great country has to offer!

    Take care!

    Hi Mafoo,

    Welcome to NZB!

As far as I am aware, this would be totally legal. You'd need to declare them if asked though.

Trade Me is the NZ equivalent of ebay, that would be where to sell them.
