Topic: From Portugal...

Hello to all the Kiwi members of this forum.
I am a Portuguese teenager who recently visited your fantastic country in July. Although it was winter, the temperature and the rain did not stop us from visiting incredible sites like the Waitomo Caves, Fox Glacier, the TranzAlpine, Mount Tongariro, Auckland, Waitangi....
It was a remarkable journey, and I'm glad that I actually got to meet a couple of locals, specially in Auckland and Christchurch. I really enjoyed your lifestyle and the overall personality of the population: easygoing, problem-free and very, very friendly.
Wish you all the best and I hope to come back soon, even though I'm more than a day away by plane.

Yes, it was really as good as it seems. In fact, I really wanted to stay there for a few months to get a real taste of the daily life in NZ. I hope I can do that once I finish my studies...

Well I'm in Portugal, just living my usual, daily life...not very interesting specially now as I'm going through my final exams period in school At least the countdown for summer has started, and the nice, warm weather is back...
By the way, go the All Whites in SA!

I have jsut spend the weekend in a very cold Christchurch! So am also on the countdown to summer but I have a long long long way to go!
