First I would like to say hi. This is my first post here on the forums.
I saw the movie two weeks ago and thought that it was a good, not great, movie. The book seemd to be much better than the movie, but with such a great cast of actors it is hard to not find something to enjoy about the movie.
If I had to do it over again I don't know for sure if I would go to the movie, I think that I might just rent to DVD and save myself the money.
Being a bookworm though that's the way I'd prefer to go .... but Tom Hanks ????? Hmmmm
I hope to go and see it, read a condensed version of the book so keen to see the movie. Started reading the full version, but then decided as I hadn't read much would see the movie first. Not usually my type of movie. Will let you know what I think if I can remember how to get back to you. Cheers Heather
Acually I saw the movie, it's very good. Not sure what all the fuss was about. Knowledgable yes again it's just a movie.
Great movie from start to finish...KEPPS YOU GUESSING THE WHOLE WAY THRU
I read the book then saw the movie. It is more enjoyable that way as you can compare what you "saw" in your imagination when you read the book with the way it is portrayed in the movie. Imagination is good, and we don't use it enough anymore.
