Christchurch Crossover Singer Hayley Westenra Has just turned 18,
She has a dvd to be released on the 18th April, that was filmed in NZ.
and has a new album coming out soon.
She has just visited Ghana re being a NZ Unicef Ambassador, and will be raising money to buy 5000 bikes for 5000 girls there to get to school.
She certainly leads a busy life for one so young.

Hayley is great for one so young, she would make a great ambassadoress for
N.Z South Islanders should be proud of her.

Yes i am certainly proud of her,As im sure most NZers are.
She is the most incredible person and will go out of her way to meet and greet her fans.I think she has done a lot to promote NZ already,always making her concerts have a NZ flavour.
She has just performed at the 60th Anniversary of VE day in trafelgar square,with artists like Dame Vera Lynn,Katherine Jenkins,Sir Cliff Richard to name a few.
May 21st she will be performing at the FA cup final so look out for her.
July 2nd Hayley will be home to provide pre match entertainment at the Lions/All Black match at Wellington.
