Topic: Any good free download site for music?

Hi everyone we did at one stage download kazza lite but found our comp.
picked up to much viruses, so had to send our harddrive to be cleaned, now we are very weary about downloading music, so if you know any good site please let us know. THANX

I had the same thing happen to my PC, and I am actually really careful with virus checking.

Have you tried xtra.co.nz ? I think they have a Music Channel.

(Naturally, anyone who posts any links to copyrighted material better have the copyright to it, or face action.)

Most Sites Tend To Have A Small Fee For Down Loading Songs I Dont Know Of Any Freeware Sites For Songs But I Use Bearshare To Get Them + Virus Scanner To Make Sure Theirs No Viruses +adaware For The Malware Etc:d

Hmm, you can try mp3.com. Kazzaa is ok but like you said, too many viruses. If you want safe downloads you can use Itunes and Napster but you have to pay. Other than those i don't know.

I know of a bunch uf DJ's that have sick house/trance and Drum and Bass for downloads.

I use bit torrent great for more than music.

speaking of which i am after rock horror picture show and little shop of horrors.

I use Limewire, you can get a free program and pay for Limewire Pro and I've never had a problem with it.

Napster is the only one I have ever used {shows you how long I haven't downloaded for}

another site you could use is DC++, but a lot of people i know do use the torrents site.

I use Limewire too, and have never encounted any viruses with music downloads. Give it a try, it's fast and easy to use.

or use Utorrent.

Free versions of most peer to peer music sharing sites you end up with viruses.....but ive found with the paid versions of Limewire and Frostwire no problems at all.
