Intermittent error on forum home

Perhaps affects other areas of the site but I have only noticed it appear on forum home.

Index.php is calling a file that is in the /gallery subdomain each time....some times it works, some times it goes bung...maybe some times it is calling ti too late?

I have had a look at photopostdev.com but not much joy.

The call is right at the start of index.php .. only global.php and the other 2 are getting called before it.

I am trying something...can everyone please let me know if that error (and the corresponding lack of photos box) happens again, and what style they are using?
