  1. Things that are easier without a bandage on your thumb

    1. Turning keys. Seems simple enough, but when you can only put the required amount of torque in by putting the wounded area on the metal, it's not.

    2. Showering. Keeping a thumb dry might sound easy, but involves plastic bags and holding an arm above the shower the entire time.

    3. Shaving. As per Showering, but with the additional factor of being concerned about slicing more body parts off.

    4. Rolling a ciggy. Not fun. Fingertips are getting good at it. ...

  2. Why I Should be Monitored when near Sharp Objects

    Christy bought me a Mandoline. It is awesome. It is awesomely sharp.

    I was slicing potatoes when one slipped off the prongs of the handguard, and my thumb slipped onto the blade, slicing a 7mm diameter circle off the side.

    Day 2 now, it's a tad infected, so I am on antibiotics.

  3. The Apprentice is coming Tuesday 16th 7.30pm TV2 !!

    Well, another of my favourite TV shows is coming!! Yay!

    I still think the Apprentice series 1 with Alan Sugar hosting as the mean boss was the very best, boy, it was nail biting stuff especially with the backstabbing going on with candidates fighting out for the job! the board room lies!!!

    I think the NZ series is going to be so much better then the US Donald Trump version, no offence Donald but we just don't get you!

    NZ minimum wage = $12.75 per hour
    UK minimum wage = $ 3.07 per hour or 5.80 gbp per hour
    SA minimum wage = $414 per month!! or 2200 rand per month

  5. Are Men confused about facebook and the crazy comments?

    Hey,

    what do you think about facebook's crazy comments? A lot of my men friends have been getting very frustrated by all the CRAZY talk on womens profiles. Some one started a secret code to women only, not sure who started it but it sure did take off this week.

    It first started as name your colour of bra, so everyone wrote just the colour on thier status,

    then, it went into full-on mode, with some crazy sentences made-up from combinations !!
