Isreal v Palestine .. what's your view?

This morning there was a post on vBulletin.com by some Palestinian guy. It read:

Who is the terrorist? The Israeli or this child?

and had an attached image of a 6-ish year old standing next to a gun-riddled wall.

My response?

"What a stupid question. You might as well ask 'Which is the terrorist, this petrol-powered motor mower, or this Palestinian?'. This earned me a 'fuck you'.

Of COURSE the child is no terrorist. The terrorists are the ones who are actively seeking to instill 'terror' in others through (usually) the use of violence.

This whole Palestine v Israel over land thing is retarded.

Even IF a book said that something was mine, what kind of intelligence would I be showing if I picked up a rock and attacked a group of people wearing body armour and holding the most advanced firearms on the planet?

In my personal opinion, there needs to be a 'shoot on sight' order for anybody seen carrying anything more dangerous than a wet facecloth.

Hypothetically,
If a group of people (lets say activists) moved onto the family farm up north and they forced you brother and father off land which is rightfully theirs they would be pissed off.

And then the activists 'out of the compassion of their hearts' offered them a leaky plywood car case to live in on the worst piece of land on the farm. It would just add to the anger against the invaders.

Then when they have to wait for hours to be "allowed" to use the only road out to get to the shops for food or for your brother to get to school or even to the doctor when sick it would add further rage.

Not to mention when the invaders deciding they want to piece of land the car case is on back they just tell your dad and brother to leave and then bulldoze it into the ground while what little posessions they have a still inside. Assuming of course that they both got out safely before the "house" was flattened.

That would probably be the final straw.

As I understand this is exactly the sort of thing that is happening.

As to a book- that says this land is his- where are the deeds of entitlement gone? If they are gone, since another book says this land belongs ( traditionally and futuristically) to someone else... where are the transaction deeds of entitlement to that?
There aren't any... so possession ( wresting possession and holding onto it) is 90% of " the law"!
Against this " law" there is only another " tradition" ( the historic example of Abraham and his two sons) which says not only the "eldest son" or " one selected son" is entitled to the future inheritance of One Father's property! It can be divided equally amongst all male claimant" heirs"- not forgetting as well ( this comes from one branch of this " family tree") an inheritance portion half that of any entitled male -to women-folk... so that this " wealth" may be circulated out and around to the benefit of many. Since,who can determine which out of any descendents is more needy or may use this inheritance to better use?
Is the soldier with his gun using this inheritance claim to good use, or the child against a bullet- ridden wall? As a matter of fact it is the responsibility of the leadership of both rival factions to divide the conjoint inheritance equally amongst both parties... not forgetting that it is the women- and future generations of children- who are deprived of even a fraction of their half-share "inheritance" and benefits in all this factionalism... which is, I agree,"infantile"- backward, selfish and violently possessive behaviour... which we are all sick and tired of seeing! It is and has been in our nature to fight over the land beneath our feet, or the gold, or what ever it is that will assure us of survival with a minimal amount of discomfort and maximum pleasure even at the cost of many. It is and always has been a select group of individuals who really live the good life and most are just trying to survive their lives.

The issues of raw and refined materials in our world will be come more and more to the focus. They do not observe any human rights. They are behaving like Nazis and it was not that long ago the world stood up to such behavior. Seems ironical that these are the two largest fascist states in the world. Personally, I would Bulldoze the USA and Israel and replace it with Park 'n Ride Car park.
