Topic: where in Auckland to live

Not sure where to post this... I am moving to Auckland end of September and need a good neighbourhood in which to live. Any advice? I especially need easy and good transpo opportunities as I will (hopefully) be supply teaching around the city. i also would love tennis courts close by. Not very picky otherwise... but would prefer a relaxed, youngish area (not too family oriented or run down or too city like).

I would suggest Epsom, or Parnell or Remuera (if you can find anything) - they are all pretty young areas with all of the things you are looking for.
Another suggestion is to pick up a copy of the book "Where to live in Auckland" which has a lot of good advice as well.

I would really like to be able to offer some form of collated 'hints and tips on *insert city name here* on NZB... hmm...
