Topic: What do you think the NZ flag should look like?

I think a black background with a silver fern on it would be nice.

What about incorporating some kiwi stuff.

A bottle of Watties tomato sauce, a kiwi fruit, a can of L&P, a pair of stubbies, a bottle of Lion Red ..... all done very tastefully arty of course

That would actually be quite silly.

I like the idea of using the fern too.

As a Brit and not a kiwi I would go with the Black with Silver fern ! creating NZ own identity ! I like it !!

Here we go again. You people dont seem to understand that, even if we were to change our flag a million times it wouldnt change anything? The only thing that would of changed is a few billion dollars in printing costs, plus the History of all our familys that died of war would be spat in the face.
What NZ really needs is an identity! A common purpose and a CULTURE! Kiwis have no culture, we all sit around and like to think we do (fishing, chips, jandals, watties sauce) but thats all a load of cr*p at the end of the day. Sometime soon NZers need to get real, drop that stupid Treaty and take some responsibility in making a real community.

I think the NZ flag should look like the way it looks like now. I love the way it is now. Elegant and nice. Thanks.
