Topic: New Zealand at the Vancouver Winter Olympics

NewZealand's contingent to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics is 16 strong.

We have athletes competing in 8 events, none of whom are considered to be medal prospects. Hopefully that will prove to be false.

Whether they win or not, and I hope some of them do, I think they will enjoy themselves in this beautiful but weather challenged area. Myself, I'm totalling enjoying the lovely spring weather and think we should have bid on the Summer Olympics instead. Oh well. :- )

I noticed a comment on twitter yesterday to the effect of: "Say what you will about New Zealand, all the athletes are attractive!"

By their very nature as an athlete, surely that could be said of all of them from everywhere, young and buff.;D
