It's more that I keep an eye on the various feeds, and choose interesting stories to re-post, but I'll help where I can.

A paper road is basically a road that appears on a map, but is not a council-maintained road. Members of the public can legally walk along these roads, but there's no guarantee that they will be passable. I have one on my property in the Far North that has 3 massive slips and a waterfall cutting through it.

Now, what about the Parliament? who is the majority in the parliament? Is John Key a Maori?

it said in the article that two men tried to assault the prime minister last year. which group do those men belong to? i am trying to understand which social group makes up the majority of the government and who exactly is against them and why.

John Key, as far as I know, doesn't have any Maori blood.

As for the two brothers who assaulted John Key at Waitangi in 2009, they were of Ngati Kahu tribe. (Which incidentally, is the tribe that is from the very area I grew up in ) I haven't read anything to suggest that Ngati Kahu organised the incident, it appear to be the brothers making a statement on their own accord.
