Hows that.
Youre not allowed by law, to smoke in your car while driving.
The cops busted Johno , from the Rock radio, and he was imposed a 60 dollar fine.
Harsh, very harsh.

But serious???
I'm liable for upwards of $300 a day then!
Shameless plug.

Holy crap. I was not aware of this law...

I wasn't aware of this law either. Crikey. I see people smoking in their cars every day. I think it would be a pretty arsehole cop to pull someone over for smoking.

Maybe you aught to start worrying about all those missiles out there being aimed by people too busy with their fags to be concerned with trivial things like steering or breaking.Originally Posted by Penny

yes you make a good point. But its like anything else people do when they drive, I drink and eat while I drive all the time, and that could be just as dangerous.

Also not while at stop lights or in queues.
Only when parked.

Soon it will be illegal to use a car stereo as well.
I hear they cause accidents when people lean down to change the channel.

I heard that someone got fined for driving with no shoes on.

I know someone who was injured in a car crash, becuase the person in the other car had taken her boots off while she was driving, and they got stuck under the break pedal or something.Originally Posted by Bluey and Aquila

It's pretty much a case of move it or lose it if you get on the wrong side of a truck.Originally Posted by Penny

To me the guys using an RT as they are driving would be the same problem as people using cellphones.
