    So I want to go away for New Years. Im keen for a place with some good night life!! Were a group in our early 20s, A we like a drink or two . Places we've already thort of

    Wellington
    Auckland - Town, Phat 09 etc...
    Rotatura
    Hamilton
    Whangamata
    Gisbourne - Rhythm & Vines
    Matakana - High life

    Is there any other place in the NORTH island that you know thats has a Few bars/clubs/ pubs or any happening thats has a GREAT night life over New Years?!?!?!?! doesnt matter if the town is small. Just sumwere that goes off. Im sure theres alittle gem somewere in NZ waiting to be discovered!

    Umm. You've covered a hell of a lot of the places I would suggest.. considered the Bay of Islands?

    From memory, they do a bit of a massive party.
