Topic: moving to nz in 2-3 weeks need a bit of help

hope i get a reply cause this forum looks near dead O_O
lol well im finally moving back to nz ive lived in nz 4 times for 4 years all up but family keeps dragging me back to aussie :| and i fn hate this country so damn badly and the people in it that when i compare it to nz nz = the garden of eden aussie = hell and now im 20 and ive decided to move out of the parents house and finally back to my fave country
anyway i wanna try type this out fast so it may lack spelling and capitals <_<
i got a few random(no joke) questions for anyone willing to help

ok so im gonna be staying with my aunt and she tells me the job market is so damn bad that shes even applying to the warehouse O_O. is it really that bad? i mean is it a bad time to move over and hope for a job? cause over here i sit on my ass everyday and ive actually gained 20kg <_< due to lack of doing things but in nz im gonna be up and at it walking around manurewa like i used to when i lived there! but yeah is job hunting really hard atm?

if job hunting is bad than im hoping to apply to winz so i can pay rent at my aunts place and she tells me it takes 6 weeks for it to get processed and such but i emailed them and they said 2 weeks... anyone wanna help settle this one?

thirdly and probably most weird :P how much are fish and chips these days? after a year and a half hell nearly 2 years actually of putting up with australias crap fish and chips i cant wait to get some nz ones! i remember a fish and chip place near manurewa where 2 big pieces of fish, 2 sasuages, a scallop(i think) and big ass chips = 5 bucks! has it gone up? i mean if its up to like 7 now thats fine but seriously that in australia would be a good 20 bucks

I just got back from Thailand and those fish and chips are still the best.
The benefit is 2-3 weeks to recieve but now they do not just put you on the benefit you have to do a seminar and then they go all out to get you a job only after work attempts exhausted do they start your payments.
ther is seasonal work starting up.
