Topic: Australian moving to NZ

Hey all, this is my first post ^.^

I'm moving to NZ very soon in September, I was going to move next month but my brother will be in Townsville making a film there and I won't see him until he gets back which will be sometime in September. Anyway, I have never been to NZ and am moving there for a change of lifestyle. My main reason of moving is so I can be with my bf of almost 3 yrs and yeah But i'm headstrong about it.

However, I really need some help with finding a job there. I'm looking to get a job offer before I leave Australia, particularly in Hamilton as that is where I will be staying at with my cousin. I have cousins galore over there. I'm mainly looking to get a Screen Printing apprenticeship there, but for the time being I just wouldnt mind atleast getting some sort of job offer there. If anyone could help me out? please

This site is awesome and would be better if all of the old posters come back and continue to improve it.

Is this a NZ thing, these quiet forums? Just wondering, because the only ones I've found with regular postings are expat forums (maybe that's because I'm also thinking about moving to NZ one of these years). But all the "local" forums I've been able to find seem pretty still.

Is there just too much to do in the real world down there, or what?
