Seriously zoom in on. We just had a peek at some boats in the marina in Miami.

Dammit.
After getting home from, er, lawn bowls, yeah, lawn bowls my putor isnt up to scratch. Im using a flatties PC, and its kinda old, no graphics card, scsi drive n in general, really crap.
My fault for getting rid of my one. Mind you the 100Mbs connection makes up for it.

Actually.. if you want to use Google Earth, but cannot install it for any reason...try the NZB Member Map.

It IS Google Earth, if you lick the Hybrid button in the Top Right.

Clicking it works a lot better.

We have been playing with that site here at work for a while. Alot of fun although some of the less populated areas dont have the coverage.

I don't know if they have, it's a pain that only parts of New Zealand are clear though and not all of it.

Went and checked it out, it's great! The graphics are good but still can't see Hawkes Bay clearly unfortunately.

Yes, only few places are covered by this service. But, like you said, the graphic is fantastic!
Also Italy is not covered yet.

The details' level of some american cities is great.....

The only clear parts of New zealand is North Shore Auckland and Marlborough around Blenheim with the spy base.

Yes The Waihopai spy base in Marlborough. Looks like 2 giant golf balls incasing 2 Satalite Dishes. Every year there are protests outside the gate of the base to close the base down.
