I just bought web space for $1/week, and knocked together a quick site for our planned horse breeding business

Oooh ... if you are ever looking for someone to paint pictures of any of your horses, my mum is a really good artist and she's pretty inexpensive too because she does it more for the love than for the money. She had an article in Horse & Pony a couple of years ago and loves painting horses.

I'll scan some of the photo's she's taken of her paintings and send them to you if you like.

Now added a guestbook - php & MySQL.

Hopefully I can pick up enough php from the existing templates, to be able to customise it

Well, I can see how the php works in with the html - but I couldn't find a particular mesage that I wanted changed, so just took out the php reference, and added regular html text to say what I wanted

I've got so many templates that will need work though . . .

Working out exactly how the php talks to the tpl and also to the mysql to produce what is the main part of the headache really.

Eg: the bloody smileys window.

I know that on the quickreply, it is a simple piece of javascript code, windowx=200, y=400, resizable=YES etc, but I'll be damned if I can find that in posting.php or functions_post.php.

The Quick Reply is the button that says 'Reply With Quote'. You might have been looking at the Multi-Quote button?
