Topic: OK, someone explain to me please.........

what the points and karma points are. I dont know if Im posting this in the right place so if not, I appologize.

I'll move the thread once I have posted this.

Points are used in the Store to change the colour of your username, make it italic/bold/glowing, change your username...among other things...and to play games in the Arcade.
You get points for posting threads, replying to threads, having other people view your threads, thru winning the Arcade games, and from winning bets on vBookie events (not too many of those at the moment, but there will be more soon.)

Karma is based on other people clicking the Karma icon and either approving or disapproving of a post.

So, to understand as I am a "newbie"....to earn points you are required to post in forums!

Is there a specific location to post correctly? I too am sorry if I am not doing this correctly.

Okay....verytime I try to play a game, it says that I have to post 3 times in 24 hours. since I have done that can someone explain why I am still not allowed to attempt playing a game?

Does it tell you that you need to make 3 posts, even when you have made three posts?

It may be that you didn't have enough points to play the game that you wanted, but it shouldn't tell you to post more if you have already done enough.

You can post anywhere to gain points, but you will get 5 times as many if you do so in the nz.general newsfeed forum.
