    Default New posts & Searching

    Hey Kall,

I have foudn this a couple of times, I will come on and click new posts to see what has been happening, and then go through and read it all, and then think I want to reply so click on new posts again - and ofcourse they are no longer new - and I get the message saying "there are no new posts clikc here to see posts from the last 24 hours" or whatever the message is.

SO I then go and click the link ... and this error message comes up
This forum requires that you wait 25 seconds between searches. Please try again in 22 seconds.
and then I can't be beothered sitting there looking at the screen guessing when 22 seconds will be up, and so I go and do something else - only to not be able to work out how to search for the last 24 hours and going through the same thing.

    its becoming an infinate loop

I also haven't posted on some things I think I will because I am too lazy to find my way around the board to find the posts that way. I also just started on a new contract this week so don't have screams of time to do that.

right enogh talk about that. do you think you can fix it some how?

Oh, I hate Search Flood warnings. HATE THEM!

I'll remove it for now..we're not busy enough for it to need to be on, and the annoyance that you describe is enough to take the bloody thing off.

    Sweet thansk kall ...

I come across as nagging and I really don't intend to be, but also you know when you use new posts and then click on one you want to read, how can you make it go straight to the new post rather than to the top of the thread?

Try clicking the little blue arrow thingy next to the name of the person who posted it in about the third column. It will have something like #post62163 at the end of the URL.
