Topic: Map Markers

I was wondering how to put my marker on the map? I'm not familiar with that program and when I tried earlier it wouldn't go...I'm the only one in my area so I thought it would be nice to put one up. Any help would be great. Thank You In Advance.

Thanks for the reply, I've never used any map system before other than for driving directions. I'll be back this evening (my time) to work on this. Oh and there was no error, it just didn't show up after I filled in the data.

Kall, i think you need to generate a new API key for google maps, since you moved the website.

You may want to consider emailing google support, or to create a new account with google api and create a new key from a new account.

If Kall does that, will all the old markers be lost? That would be sad. Sorry I didn't come back sooner, my computer died and had to be sent in, I'm using my old slower-than-molassass one.

Don't fret MT, the markers themselves are contained locally, on this site.

The issue lies with the new key not being accepted.. it's either on the Google side, or on this side... I'll figure it out.

In the end, it turned out to be the rewrite rule - it was pointing at an older version of the file.

How that happened, I haven't a clue. I hadn't changed it before or after the move.
