Default How the NZB 'Points' system works

Every member will have a certain number of Points displayed in their posts, and you can always view your own by looking at the far right of the Navbar at the top of the page.

    How do I get points?

Posting: Posting threads, replying to threads, having people view threads that you have posted.

Betting: Place a sucessful wager on a vBookie event. These are designated by the blue $ icon. - Currently disabled.

Winning Arcade games: Place in the top 5 places of a game and take a share of the Jackpot.

Being given some by a kind person: People can Donate a portion of their points to you (and give them some Karma).

Being given good Karma: Make good, on-topic or helpful posts and people will give you positive Karma, which gives you some points.

Referring others: Click the Refer-A-Friend link in the bottom of the page and for every new member you refer, you get 500 points!

Stealing: Use the thief action in the Store or dropdown in the navbar to attempt to steal someone elses points. Beware, if your Karma is way lower than theirs, it will likely fail, and they will get your points and you will take a Karma hit.

What can i do with my points? COMING SOON!

Donate - Give someone some points
Change Custom Title - Choose a new title...even with emoticons!
Change Other User's Custom Title - As above, but they can see who did it...
Change Username - Change your username
Glowing Username - Make your username Glow (IE only)
Colored Username - Change the colour of your Username
Bold Username - Make your Username Bold
Italicized Username - Make your username Italicised
Bank - Store your points away safely and gain interest
Secondary Usergroup - Buy access to new permissions
Sticky Thread - Make a thread stick to the top of the Forum
Thief! - Steal another person's points
Arcade Pass - Don't have to pay per game for 2 weeks

Games in the Arcade have a Per Game cost. Every time you play a game, this will be deducted from your Points total, but if you win, you will take the Jackpot total.

This thread is very helpful, but if a thief takes your points, you do not know who took them.....do I understand that correctly?

They aren't showing as active yet, they have to post...

Also, the fact that they appear to have been signed up at the very computer you are sitting at is highly suspicious.

Well, I only just realised that you can only see the NZB points when you are using the default skin. That is something you might like to let people know; I was just using the XP skin and couldnt see any points options!
