karma is something you earn (and can loose) I understand you earn karma by posting, and also people can add to it by giving you repretation when they like your posts. (You can do that by pressing the buttons that look like scales). You can loose you karma, by someone giving you bad repretation... or if you try to do something like steal points.

You also get karma by donating points.
