| Hello there, What sort of things are you looking to find out. I figure you must have done some research in order to choose NZ to visit. Sadly it's not a sunny day, but at least the garden is getting a watering ![]() If you are coming in January, bring your shorts and sun tan lotion! ![]() | ||||

| One of the good things about NZ, is that you can choose to go to either north or south islands to carry out those pursuits, but if you choose to do both islands, then allow lots of time. Sth Island does have a lot more desolate areas and hiking is excellent, with many places featuring different climate types. Watch some tracks, as they can be only open at particular times of the year and will only allow guided hikes. Either island will provide you with some good displays of nature. You could jump off the Sky Tower in Auckland for the ultimate thrill I guess. It's not truly bungee, you are lowered at a good rate of knots using a controlled mechanism, still have to be insane to jump off in the first place. | Not that I am in the travel industry, but you can't be dissapointed when you come to NZ. There is plenty to do for people with all sorts of interests. As you are aware, NZ is pretty strong on the sport side of things. So no shortage of sport things to do. Come at the right time and maybe follow a rugby test around the country. Climb a mountain, tramp through virgin bushland, swim in hot pools, soak in hot mud, ride through a forest on a mountain bike, bunji jump off a bridge, swim with dolphins, surf, get bitten by a shark, skate, fly, ski, kayak, get drunk, get arrested, get deported. And thats just one day. So many things to do and see, plenty of Maori culture scattered throughout the land. | ||||
