Hello All, in my search for info on New Zealand, I found your group. I live in the US and am the leader of my daughters "Brownie" troop (grades 1st through 3rd grades). There is a one time of year "program" that girl scouts do called World Thinking Day. This year the theme is based on your country. They ask each of the girls to bring a canned good to donate to the local food pantry and also pennies to give to the Juliette Lowe Friendship Fund (Juliette Lowe is the woman who started Girl Scouts). Anyhow, our county is getting together to celebrate the day and each troop is supposed to be bringing facts about New Zealand, as well as a game, song food or even a badge native to your country.

So, I'm here to learn as much as I can from all of you.

I'm excited to learn whatever I can, or if any of you know a girl scout family that I could email to learn more, I would be very grateful!

Kaci .. you don't need to show your email addy on the boards if you don't want to, anyone can just click your Username and choose 'Send email to Kaciking'.

Just a thought... you might want to edit your post and remove the addy before you get hit with spam. I have changed it so that spiders/scripts cant automatically read it, but its still risky to publically (anywhere) post your email addy.
