New Zealand offers investment budget at expense of tax cuts (AFP via Yahoo! Asia News)

WELLINGTON (AFP) - New Zealand will invest heavily in transport, health and education, Finance Minister Michael Cullen said in his 2005-06 budget showing an operating surplus of 8.5 billion New Zealand dollars (5.3 billion US) for this year.
