New Zealand In Depth (ABC Asia Pacific)

After a run of almost 100 years, the only passenger train service between Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand is at the end of the line. The private operators say a drop in passenger numbers and cheaper transport options have forced it to discontinue the run.
