New Zealand deports friend of hijacker (International Herald Tribune)

A man who U.S. officials say lived and trained with one of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers before the attacks was able to slip past security checks to enter New Zealand by giving a different version of his name, the New Zealand prime minister, Helen Clark, said Monday.
