LONDON, February 20 (newratings.com) â€“ Australiaâ€™s leading power retailer, Origin Energy (ticker: ORL), plans to merge with its New Zealand unit, Contact Energy, in a bid to cut costs and strengthen its presence in the high growth energy segment.
