HIyee! Am contemplating on travelling alone to NZ.
Once am there, hopefully fall in love with the city and uproot myself.

Am from manila,philippines.
Would you guys know where is the best place for me to settle?
Is it expensive to live there?

Does auckland have a certain area where post-production houses are
proliferating?

I just want to know.I've got too many questions.

Hi there

I guess it would depend on what you're wanting to do here. Auckland is the biggest city so probably has more opportunity for work (depending on what you do).

I'm not sure if you'd call it expensive ... that depends on where you live. Take a look through some of the other threads here and you'll see some of the advice we've given to other members wanting to visit NZ

hi sparklechick!
Thanks for acknowledging my thread.

I want to visit NZ for a month,
during my stay, I also want to look for better opportunities for me.

Am a graphic designer basically I do effects and edit television commercials and tv shows.

I was wondering, does Auckland have a certain area/street where post production houses and tv stations prolifarate?

Am really quite interested with the city. I am from manila philippines and I want to settle in auckland soon.

Thanks! hope to hear form you again

Ummm.... I don't quite know what Post Production houses are, but maybe Ponsonby?

Whilst at the local Dole Office, many people from Ponsonby were there, all were actors.
