Arrow Virus 'harnessed to kill cancers'

Scientists have taken advantage of cancer cells' selfish behaviour to destroy them with a virus.

It could be an interesting enhancement to the way they currently treat cancers.

It's gotta beat having chemotherapy.

Chemo is not a nice thing for anyone to go through.

Yeah, It sounds, altho I don't know technical details that it might be a better way to go, becuase it only kills the cancerous cells.

My friend who is sick, has had so much Chemo and Radiotherapy that any more radiotherapy and that would start killing her. Not that that matters now the cancer is doing that anyway. But at the time she had as much as possible and it pretty much kills everything in that area not just the bad cells.

Just to swing this conversation in a slightly different direction. The most popular AIDS drug at the moment was once used primarily for Cancer patients. It's Function? The killing of the cancerous cells. End Result? It killed everything. Now they are using it on AIDS patients and it is still doing exactly the same thing. AIDS doesn't kill people, it's that darned drug. It destroys all white blood cells which are the defenders of the body. This makes the body vulnerable to any illness and there are no white blood cells to destroy these intruders.

How about that?
