Hi there Alexander, GISBOURNE is a beautiful place, has lovely beaches for fishing, rivers, bush if you are keen hunter, wineries, orchards and farmlands.

haa, don't mean to be a stick in the mud but it is GISBORNE. But you are right about the rest, also has some great roads to ride, one of the best surfing spots with it's beaches facing south and south to north east, only down side is it's about 3 hours to any other major city.

There's a few websites you can checkout just google The Gisborne Hearld, Gisborne NZ etc.
