Actually Salt, I am NOT racist.

I have had racism used AGAINST me though when I was growing up in a small town in Northland. I was white. The majority of my town was maori. I was beaten up and called a honky white bitch when I was growing up. Many of us white New Zealanders were.

I have no problem with a lot of the maori in NZ. It's the greedy ones that are ripping off this country, also their own whanau, that really bug me. I have an old friend who NEVER received any money from the Tainui when they came into a large amount of money, I think that was about the time they bought a rugby league team and a casino. They never gave back to their people and yet they constantly have their hand out wanting more.

Look at all the good things Ngai Tahu have done. I think a lot of the other tribes in NZ could learn a thing or two from the Ngai Tahu tribe.

Racist ... pfffffffffttttttttt .... get a grip Salt.

I am sick of this 'Race' divide that is happening in this country. I want to learn about my culture too, so I head to the libary, and read books, or maybe use my computer. I don't have to go to a 'Pakeha' Uni to do this ... oh wait, that would be racist wouldn't it.

Hi there dodgy old bugger i like your comments above however i wonder if you know that prisoners get free schooling, free computors to do their work on, depending on what they want to do Then when they get out would you offer them a job, not only that it cost the gov. $161.09 per day just for 1 prisoner $54126.24per annum.
Then the Police well what can we say there's some good there's some bad.
Doctors and Nurses yeah they deserve a raise oops by the way you can join Te Wananga-O-Raukawa and train as a nurse even if you were purple. Oh you will have no trouble reading the work for your assignments because LO and BEHOLD it's in English, not only that the government still has a say in what can be offered there. I agree more money should be spent on our elderly they deserve it. BUT petrol come on.
