Had many a good night out in Taihape. Nothing better then going to the local with the Young Farmers Club and not remembering anything about it the day after.

We had this guy who's fetish was drinking beer out of a guys Gum boot. Sicko! For sure!
He drank out of my blue suede Vans and stained he face blue from lips to chin. I saw him teaching skiing the next day bizarre as ever with the stains from the night before. How did he explain that one?

My husband was born (1942)in this town and his folks had a restuarant opposite the Railway Station (now a plumbers) - and no station left either. The Motel Owner next door showed us around the back one day and it brought back heaps of memories for hubby.
