"Lets him go"?

Has she made him (Benson-Pope) step down?

I was amused to see ex-students standing up in defence of him...the same thing happened when we brought up the fact that our P.E teacher was a violent, abusive racist...including the very student he had smacked in the head with his keys, slicing open his forehead.

I KNOW this happened...I was sitting a couple of seats behind him when it happened.

So yeah, I would tend to believe that a teacher is capable of doing the things Benson-Pope is alleged to have done.

I think it's possible BP did the whole tennis ball thing. Our teachers did some pretty mean stuff back in the day, they got away with much more than teachers can today. But that was all part of the schooling process. Some teachers were harsher than others.

I think the point is that he "refuted" the allegations completely and that's what these students are annoyed about and that's why they're coming forward now. He lied in parliament.

If he hadn't made that statement then it's possible that the incident would never have got as far as it has.

Also ... Rodney Hide is a big fat fucker ... it seems the only thing he has to do is investigate and sling mud at other politicians. Makes for some entertaining news though.
