| nz is the home of horses ponys racing, draught.you name it we have it i do not know the price of a horse in these modern times i should say they are dear unless you get to know a farmer the trouble with any animal in particular a horse you have to have the space to keep them try contacting the farmers assoc.or federation when i was a boy every one had ponys to ride to school in stead of catching a bus my bum used to be red raw marty | |||

| If you are looking for recreational riding you'd do well to visit the NZ Pony Club website which caters for riders of all ages. They'll also be able to help you with pricing or the actual pony/horse, grazing and vet fees. Horses are generally grazed year round and depending on which part of NZ you are interested in grazing may be available locally. | ||||
