What is Folding@Home? Basically, it's a 'Shared Distributed Computing Project', meaning that it breaks up massive amounts of information into smaller bits, sends them out to millions of PCs around the world which, when they are idle, analyse the data and send it back.

From Folding@Home's site: "Our goal: to understand protein folding, protein aggregation, and related diseases."

NZB has formed a Team to help in this fight, if you would like to join in, go to http://folding.stanford.edu/ and download and install the program.

In the configuration, under your username, enter our team id: 41932 to join the www.nzboards.com team.

SETI@Home. Yup, and can be used at the same time, but SETI has a higher priority set, so it will usually over-ride the Folding one.

so what they are trying to tell us by that is extra terrestial life is more important than fighting diseases??
