You mean like Jumping Jacks??? Every year these things used to chase me so stopped having them. Double Happies, real Sky Rockets - the these stupid fizzers today.

Yes that kind of thing. i remember mt versuvius, golden rain, yew trees, emerald fires ,hellzapoppin, the c d e and h sky rockets and the great favs of mine the "explosives" thunderbangers mighty cannons and the double happys and tom thumbs _ throw downs were available but not in tauranga sadly , just trying to use my recall brain functions

I didn't really like the crackers after getting some thrown at me as a kid, but loved (and still do) the colourful fountains. Must admit though, whether its because I'm getting old or not, but they don't seem to be anywhere near as good as I remember. Some are even lucky to give a pfff let along anything else
