| come down south to kaikoura where i come from it used to be a little backwater town but it now has a whalewatch which has boosted the population tenfold and biznesses are arriving every day there is plenty to do fishing. one of the famous surfing areas in nz. in the background there are mountain for backpacking,no sking or sheeing wild animal hunting.golf walk tracks -beer drinking it used to be famous for beer drinkers. so if you have the time try it out when i was youg the ony asian i saw was on tele but it now has a thriving asian communitie they are always were the money is whalewatch has been good for the econimy as it has created work for many directly aor indirectly it has one of the best fishing spots in nz when i was young there was a saying when the tide is out the table is set. marty | |||

| yes kaikoura has got lots to do and see i miss the place so i will be commin home this year for a holiday oh and dont forget the irish pub thats a great place ![]() | ||||

| Hey there Marty, Yes i am bringing my family down ther as my grandson has not been on the Ferry yet, however he has been to the Gold Coast. Can you go out and get your own seafood there, whats the goss, on the crays as my daughter loves crays so i hope to catch a glimpse of the whales | ||||
