Hi there i would like to tell people about the lovely north island,there are beuatiful beaches and great places to stay.
My favourite place is Kaitaia ,the people are friendly and you can go up ninety mile beach to cape reinga which is the tip of the north island ,it has some wonderful views of the pacific and tasman ocean .

Yes kaitaia is a beautiful place i,ve been there many times,
i have some lovely photos taken when i was there

I agree.It is a very scenic place and is not soon forgoten.
I was there several years ago, and have some wonderful memories of the place and the time.
I was actually serprised to find that you actually can see where the two seas meet ..there is a distinct difference very noticeable between them.

I,ve been to manawatu and really thought it a beautiful area, it,s on the west coast is,nt it were most of the beaches have black sand,they have some beaches in Auckland on the west coast the same but very lovely places.

I'm from Kaitaia, my family all still live there so I try and go home often
You are right, It's beautiful... beaches here in Auckland just don't compare! (Hate black sand)

We have friends at Matauri Bay. Went up there 3 years ago in Feb and boy it was lovely! Took a trip to miti (sp???) and up to the top to the lighthouse - so beautiful up there! Had a fab holiday and hope to go back sometime soon

I have been to matauri bay it,s a truely beautiful place, when we left there we followed the coast around to whangaroa harbour before going further north ,ending at cape rianga.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm and monganui fish and chips! I have never found fresher, nicer fish mmmmm we had dinner there every night for 2 weeks lol
