Not that earth shattering. But.

A few years ago, we had a guy as super that resigned and it was discovered that he had misspent about 60 mil. He went to Texas and got a raise and was such a twit that they fired him really soon.

In the meantime, we hired, at great expense, Ackerman, who had suposedly done great things in Washington DC. We would find that the students there were VERY short changed.

But we (San Francisco Board of Education) hired her. Then we paid her something like 180 K per year. Each year the educational structure goes further into the toilet and we pump her money higher, one year kicking in a lifetime health insurance (now that is sweet). Severance goes up also. Now she is at 250K and 3K housing, 375 severance and fighting with the board of education.

If I do not get pre approval of what I want, and I do not want to tell you what that is, I may walk.

Well, she just quit 40 minutes ago.

The parents are asking that she (Ackerman) forgo the severance pay.

She will stay for the end of the year, 250 K plus the severance of 375K plus Lifetime medical/dental/pharmacy

That is not an underpaid educatior.
