Wandered up the road this morning and took a few pics.

Pretty! IT looks like a grotty doorway where I am at the moment, work *sigh* but the garden at home looks real pretty, all the leaves making it autumn.

Yeah...

Our road keeps getting made yellow by the leaves from those trees, prompting the council to send around men to blow the leaves into people's driveways.

Except with all this rain the leaves are turning mushy and very slippery to walk on. A bit hard for the leaf blowers to blow. They'll have to get the industrial strength brooms out me thinks.

Just now it is night.

Today there was fog and blue sky. I am in Noe Valley in San Francisco and the fog comes in and a bit over twin peaks but usually stops short. So we have this fog that forms a loose line across a N to S line with blue sky on the east.

It is getting to be summer here and that is our cold time.

Tourists come from all over expecting warm summers in California. Running around in their shorts and tank tops and us in our overcoats.

I kid you not.

It's VERY untidy where I am right now... the explosion known as children getting up, having breakfast and going to school has just ended, leaving me in the mass of destruction they have left behind
